Lisa Simmons Grossman
Lisa Simmons Grossman comes to Meadowbank Designs with 25 years experience in residential interior design. From a very young age, Lisa had the innate ability of transforming the modest and unadorned into beauty and elegance. Lisa’s creativity along with her commitment and attention to details makes her an invaluable senior member of Meadowbank’s design team.
Lisa graduated from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences. Her career had a fast start, landing sought after positions at Brunschwig & Fils, a preeminent fabric company, and thereafter working with Penny Steele, the founder of Meadowbank Designs, as the company’s first employee. Later, while working with Philadelphia designer Barbara Eberlein, Lisa completed the restoration and renovation of significant projects such as an Horace Trumbauer Main Line estate and the interior of an Horace Trumbauer English Renaissance Style Manor, where she was able to showcase her expertise in traditional work accented with fine art and antiques.
Newly married and with her two daughters grown and living in New York, she returned to Meadowbank Designs in 2007 where she continues her successful design career working with a wide range of clients’ design and style preferences. Lisa frequently travels to New York and Palm Beach to find unique pieces for her clients. She prides herself on her meticulous attention to detail and the functionality of her designs. Lisa enjoys working closely with clients and problem solving, which makes her job a rewarding, exciting and an enjoyable experience.
